Haven't been able to work on the cars for weeks, just too cold in the garage, we have marginal heaters there and when it's below 20 degrees they just don't cut it...the '64 is soooo close to running again... COME ON SPRING!!

Send it our way!!  We've had one day of rain in '14 and that was yesterday.  Drought in California... again.

If there's no decent electricity or CNG in your garage for a big heater, try a diesel heater. Those work nicely.

Although, below a certain point, even if the air gets warm enough, tools and parts are still too cold for to hold...

There's electric baseboards and propane heat -  it's the cost of running them! And the propane one is unvented so makes a lot of condensation - bad for cars and tools. I just  don't go there if it's under freezing (32 Fahrenheit) and it hasn't been above freezing for weeks!  If it's above 32 I can run the propane for just an hour and then just run electric and it'll stay decently warm to work in.

Hasn't been much moisture here either Scott... but what snow we have lingers forever it's so cold! Quite a few days when the HIGH was around 8 to 15.

I think it may get up to 33-34 tomorrow though, so a small break.

Supposed to be the 40's over the weekend.  It's 32 here now with a strange looking bright ball in the sky.  Haven't seen that in weeks either

It was a low of 65* yesterday.  Can't take much more of this as I might have to put the top up on my 'vert.

In all seriousness, the weather we are having here is way off.  65 in the winter is Bakersfield weather, not Nor. Cal.  I wish there was a way to move the high pressure away.

That's OK, one of these years Phoenix is going to dry up and blow away... we can always put on warmer clothes, but ya can't live w/o h2O  ;-)

There's a great book called "Cadillac Desert" ... read it and weep!

I've lived here 33 years and never was told I couldn't water my lawn or wash my car. While we do need to conserve water and other natural resources I'm not going to worry about things that might happen way in the future. Heck, there might be another ice age coming up sometime.

As the Swedes say, there's no such thing as bad weather, just bad clothes!

If I lived in AZ, my lawn would be rocks sand and cactus, I'd throw away the mower!
