Well, welcome to the forum. Looks like your Belvedere project is pretty cool to say the least, many cars have been chopped this way and few get completed, but yours has good dimensions and I actually had to take a second look to make sure the section was already done. Nice job. You did find a good location to give you advice, keep us informed and we will help and give suggestions, help you not make the same mistakes we have in the past.

Thanks for the kind words... always does my heart good when the mods don't just jump out at people, especially people who know what they are looking at.
I am hoping to finally get something accomplished with it, having thinned out the herd a bit recently.  Still sitting on a few though: '61 VW dune buggy, '63 Corvair which is becoming a dune buggy some day, an '84 Dodge D350 pickup (Royal Ram/Prospector) and a '48 Dodge D24 coupe.  Hopefully the '48 will sell soon to finance the Belvedere, but I am not holding my breath...

Hi There.  I'm just stalking for a while.  I am away from home and not too chatty for a few days

Well keep us informed on this project, love a good custom. At least you still have a frame underneath so the alteration was a little easier at this point. Pictures and details would be great when you do get to work with her again.

Steve. How you doing these days? Are the doctors getting you back in shape? Hopefully?

Oh  I'm laying here pinching nurses butts and putting up with my daughter the nurse giving me the third degree.

Well, that's good (pinching the butts of nurses that is), but still hope things are on the upward momentum for you.
