And in the last picture with the orange Cuda, isn't that the green Super Bee, too?

Turned out to be a really great show this year. Usually it is held in November but the host club changed it to this weekend to draw some of the out of town Barrett Jackson / Russo Steele visitors. Judging by the size of the crowd and the out of state and out of country lisence plates in the parking lot it must have worked. Show was much larger than last year.

So it was more of a "Chris's paint show" than anything. Always great to see a person's great work all together like this.

Well it kinda was. Four out of about 150 cars were painted by me. My car and the 66 Satellite won second place in their class. The 'cuda and Super Bee were used by my buddy Rob in a display for his restoration business so they weren't judged. They are both gorgeous fully restored cars so I think if judged they would have done well too.

The place you buffed out the sunshine convertible? Guys did a great job finishing both those cars so quickly, compared to the time it takes us all to start to finish one of our cars, I guess having the space a storage to get everything ready and on shelves in a restored state, then just simply assemble everything without the dirt, grime, rust, repairs, all that, really helps.  I bet 10,000, heck, even 2500 square feet of working space would be pretty sweet.

Glad you mentioned that Sunshine yellow 67 Coronet 'vert I buffed out when you and Steve were here. It was at the show and took first place in it's class. azblackhemi2013-01-22 23:33:53

Cool. I think it is always a great feeling when personal work gets shown and noticed, something to be proud of.

Steve , do you reconize the dealership this show is being held at? I hope so, we spent a whole day hanging out there.
