Just looked at Rockauto.com.  Heater/AC switch for '70 New Yorker/Newport/300:

Price is $57.  This part is the same for many, if not all, Mopars for over 20 years.  Go to the site, click on the make, year, model, then look for "Heating and Air Conditioning."  Click on that and look for "Heater and AC Control."  Click on that and these come up.

I just looked for '65 300.  One did not come up.  However, as I said these are interchangeable for many years.  The one I put in my Newport was the same that was in my '62, and the same as my friend's '71 Charger.  If you don't find one for your specific year and model, change the year.

Just to be clear, you are talking about the plastic "box" that is behind your heater/AC switches on the dash board?  Yes?  Looks like this:
