Good and sad at the same time, Steve. Good job on the truck, and hang in there, and remember, old farts linger a long time.

Steve, you have a good plan on how to handle the changed situation, and I consider that very positive.
I'm sure you are going to be alright. We're here with you!

Just can't beat the 5.9....those extra MPG will help to.  Good luck with things Steve.

I like this truck more than the 08.  It's quieter, lower to the ground and the MPG will be in the 25 to 26 range when I am done.

Wow...Sounds like it is going to be a great truck...now, and more so when you get the little things taken care of.

Heck, that almost sounds like the amount of work to finish a rest-mod!

That don't look like a stock set-up...or is it??  Looks like someone hacked in a car muffler on the diesel...SHAME!!!

just looked up the muffler in your pick...it does say it's for a 5.9 Diesel...but the stats say it's 3.5" in and out....that don't look like no 3.5 in and out to me.

The only surprise I have is the check engine is intermittent.  There's a short in the harness somewhere.  I need a warm place to work on that where there are tools

I have a ton of respect for you Steve.  You don't lay down when the going gets tough. You get tougher!

Stay well!
