Chrysler A/C Tool C-3822
« on: August 05, 2012, 09:11:06 AM »

I will be replacing the EPR Valve in the compressor on my '65 300 soon.  In reading the FSM, it states the use of tool "C-3822" to R&R the EPR Valve.  Since I don't have said tool and cannot seem to find one online, what is my alternative to properly replace the part?

I thought I read that you want to loose that EPR valve when running the more modern refrigerants?

Smart... 134 has never been as efficient in a system designed for 12.
When they announced the phase-out in 80s we went to K-Mart and bought a
case of cans on sale at 88 cents a can... still have it - the 'vert and
the '58 are both non-A/C cars!
