clean engine/dirty trans....  only cuz the engine was done years ago and wrapped up... didn't bother to take the trans housing to be tanked, but the inside is awfully purty.....lol

Well that's good to hear. Would hate to think you were going to chance it being good and have to pull it later.

Not at all... Got a rebuild kit and deep pan set from Mancini. Even had to drill a hole thru the filter spacer to accommodate the 65 trans filter/valve body because of the rear pump....

Just about ready to makesome noise with the
engine - just a few odds and ends to tie up there. So until we get those, we
started on the hood morphing..... laid out andmade the initial cut on the donor
hood, laid it on top of the 65 hood, have it all marked ready for trimming and
ready to make the initial cuts on the flat hood..... No need for the E-body guys
to get upset, the donor hood was in pretty bad shape in the rear corners......

We think so, too - but can't take all the credit for the idea... Saw it done on a 66 B'cuda and liked it alot. The roundness of the buldes just works well with the roundness of the roof and rear window.... We are going about it a little different than the other guy did as far as joining the 2, but the end result will be the same.  Personally I think it looks better on the 65 because the nose is just a little rounder..........and because it's ours...lol
