Saw this today...
« on: April 11, 2012, 07:11:57 PM »

I was doing one of my deliveries out in Surrey today and this thing came rolling in....

Always
been a huge fan of the UniMog trucks...and then to have a stainless
camper wedge in the back...super cool in my books!!  I was drooling, and
grinning like a fool looking at that unit...I think I feel in
love....:D

Makes me want to drive up a mountain in that thing just so I could camp in it.

My buddy's former neighbours were preparing a Unimog with a camper-unit, for a trans-African (off)roadtrip. They were fitted with a 600 litre diesel tank and a 600 litre water tank (600 litre = about 160 gallon I think)
The thing was obviously slow, but the torque immediately on relasing the clutch pedal, even at idle, is impressive.
