It is funny somewhere after being married for a while your wife suddenly becomes your mother, Making sure you are doing everything right and reminding you about everything.

That's what happens after the kids grow up and move out. The motherly instinct has been honed and they don't want to waste it or don't know how to stop the urge.

Is that a ruler like king of something, or a ruler as in afraid to do anything that isn't straight?
 
Marriage after the kids leave is like a refresher as to why you moved out of the house in the first place!
