Yes, but if you have the case, you can swap all the guts to it without a problem. There are probably a lot of switches and the likes that swap, too.

Yes, that is true, or at least I think it should be.  Do you know if IH used the same bolt-pattern as AMC?

I call AMC's "adopted mopars"  I wish they would have kept a few of the models other than the Jeep. There was a Dodge Spirit for a few years but I would have liked to see a Hornet or Gremlin from Chrysler. coulda been cool.

Bro, the Dodge Spirit was not the same car as the AMC Spirit; was a whole new model built on the K chassis.  It was shared by the Plymouth Acclaim and Chrysler LeBaron, only the latter was 2" longer.   It was a front driver where the AMC Spirit was RWD.

Glad you like the garage!

Thanks Tom.  Until I get some more shelves I cannot get around the Newport; have to open the door to do so.  There is stuff in front of the car at the moment.

Two days ago I noticed I ahd left that window open.  Glad the top was down on the car!  I "walked through it" to close the window.  Ha!

Your's is better than mine, by far... I have a 2-car garage, but I can't even fit my wife's T&C Mini-Van in it, much less my Monaco Wagon... It's just not deep enough. I do have about a 5ft overhang, so I might be able to extend the garage without even having to extend the roof, but still... a 3-car would be nice. schaefman2011-08-26 09:07:03
