Yesterday I had a ride in an awesome, almost completely original 1941 De Soto business coupe. WOW!!

I love Business Coupes, this is a great one! My 39 Nash Business Coupe has rear side windows like a regular coupe, gives me a rear sill panel that is almost four feet deep, mahogany shelves behind the driver seat and spare tire behind the passenger seat, can almost get a matress in the trunk to sleep in! This appears to be about the same dimensions in the trunk.

The story of the car is interesting. Its from a friend's father. He bought it as a stranded project some 5 years ago. The car was completely disassembled. Basically he replaced the brakes, did some wiring, replaced some engine parts and put everything together. The most time-consuming was locating the parts that were missing. I assisted him in providing some literature from the era.
Since a while, the car is tagged and on the road. He did a great job, the car drives wonderful now.
