Boys, I need to know how big the hub would be on the front suspension from a 77 Dodge Aspen/Volare'.  My boy has installed a Aspen clip under his 59 Ford F100, and we need to find a set of 15" steel wheels to fit.  Just talked him out of using a plasma to cut the hub holes bigger on the set he has........  Also convinced him most maching shops wont enlarge the holes for liability issues too! carrman2011-05-16 11:14:52

I think he is talking about the center hole of the rims, right? Use a set of calipers and measure them. Don't use a plasma cutter. They are cool and all that, but not for cutting the center holes in rims.

Go to the Wreckers and get a wheel from any Big Bolt Mopar car.. they are all the same..

There should be tons there..

1977-1989, which are all F/M/J body size/models should work

Any big bolt pattern will work.. doesn't just have to be F/J/M bodies...

I was depicting what his front end was, which would probably be more reasonable to go into a tire shop and say he needs rims that will fit something from 1977 and up, vice going all the way back to the 60s for reference. Some people in these shops are still wet behind the ears and don't know anything that isn't in millimeters.
