Canadian Election 2011
« on: May 02, 2011, 06:11:17 PM »

Like our friends of the South, we have elected a Conservative Majority Government here in Canada for the next 4 years..

Like in the US Liberalism is on the way out.

I did my civic duty and voted...made it with 1 minute to spare....

Be nice to not have to worry about another Federal election for the next 4 years.  What was this one...third time in as many years...think the rules need to change on minority gov'ts as well....4 years regardless of the majority or minority...just like the USA.

Well... obviously the US doesn't care too much about what happens north of the boarder.. nothing on any main page of even sub pages of the US Liberal Media about the Conservatives winning up here in Canada.. imagine that..

Well at least we are almost all represented by national parties now, and the two guys who misjudged the public opinion are on the sidelines. That alone should help things in trying to run a government for a whole country.
