  Ok Leaburn asked for my 2 cents so here goes. Looks like in the pictures that the paint will come back pretty well. Unfortunatly keeping it that way might be a constant battle. Usually when they oxidize that much it's real hard to keep the shine after bringing it back. That being said monthly polish and wax treatments will buy you some time before having to spend the big bucks for a paint job. By the way Peter I love the car. Yesterday I bought a 69 Monaco wagon off of E-bay in San Diego.

Love the look of the '69 rear end!  They looked so sleek after the chunky '65-68s...
