I did it again!
« on: April 07, 2011, 05:42:56 PM »

Damn

A friend called me about 2 62 Chryslers in Florida.  The pair is 300 Bucks.

One is a 62 300 Vert, solid all the way around except for one floor on the right front.  Dash is gone, no engine and trans is in the trunk.  No rust  as the car was covered an inland.  But the top is gone and interior is rough.  I have a complete dash in my attic, and I have the parts car in AZ.

The other is a 62 Newpie 2 Door HT.  Complete with also no rust.  The 2 door alledgedly has the 300 interior and is closed up.  Not too many more details on that one.  I have pictures coming.

The deal is way to good to pass up.  Even if I just make the 2 into one and flip it

Maybe the weeds are growing in dirt built up on the floor pan?

Those "Two cars for $300" deals don't come around very often that bad.

Hey, scrap is going for $240 a ton now....bet you could almost break even....if you didn't have to travel, that is!

Well, it is "rust free," because what the rust ate away is gone.  Viola' - no rust!!
