Picked up Another Set Of Road Wheels Today Update,
« on: February 02, 2011, 03:33:44 PM »

Yup, picked up another set of Road Wheels. This set happens to be attached to a nice 77 New Yorker. Silver with blue leather interior and a sun roof. 91,000 original miles. Runs and drives great. Just needs a vinyl top and paint to be real nice. You can't beat the ride of a "Formal" Here's some pictures. azblackhemi2011-02-13 20:54:16

Yeah  Sweet!  Good Find Chris.

My new Dash for Polaraco looks just like that.  Same color I mean

I looked at the dash frame.  It's not as lame brained as people think.  The wiring is going to be a piece of cake and I get rid of that damned bulk head connector.

So when are tyou building the 2nd deck and raising the fence in the storage area???  LOL

That is sweet... the '70's had to be the king of cushy seating in big cars..

I'm gonna put a vinyl top on it, paint it and drive it. Working from home I don't drive alot of miles so the gas mileage isn't really a factor. It is such a smooth cruiser it need to be driven.

That is one nice pimpmobile ;-)  Few cars were more comfortable. I agree the post '73 C- bodies had Mopar's best ride ever.  I had a '75 Lincoln Town Car once with 18k miles that was even better for a soft ride, but did 9-10 mpg with the 460, and handled worse than the QE II.

Also had a '76 Sedan DeVille that we took to Wyoming and back. Handled much better than the Linc, but not as good as a NYB, and amazingly the 500 cu in engine got over 15 mpg on the trip!

Put the paint on it today. Big difference. Now it has a good shine to it. A little color sand and buff and a new vinyl top and it'll look loike new again. Here's some pikcs. It was getting a little dark so the pictures don't look as good as they should.
