They have been showing this on the news, totally unbelievable. Guy installed the dashcam because a previous accident was not covered by his insurance to his satisfaction, now he has proof of a front end accident.

In Canada there is no fault insurance.. so your insurance covers your damage, his covers his..

Regardless of what caused it..

If you look closely, you will see pieces hitting the snow on the side of the road.

Yikes!

I wish I had video of something like that I saw years ago in Chicago.

Approaching a toll plaza, but still going 40-50 mph when car A a ways ahead of me decided to change lanes without checking his blind spot.

The driver of car B hit the brakes, and spun the wheel, putting a 2 ton RWD Olds 88 completely sideways and then back straight but 2 lanes to the left!

The part that really amazed me, was that both of them, me, and the other 20 cars around, all just carefully slowed, paid our tolls, and kept going, like nothing unusual had happened.

Ontario, BC, Sakatchewan, Manitoba maybe, but not in the republic of Alberta - we are still looking for the responsible party to pay for damages.
