No not really.  I just now learned how bad it is elsewhere.  they got 2 feet of snow less than 20 miles from here.  The storm seems to have gone around us.  I hadn't looked at the news until I saw your picture and learned my daughter was stranded in NYC.

Ya, my daughter took the bus from Binghamton to NYC this morning...
we're farther west and we've had around 2" here in Bing, but she said
that Manhattan around the Port Authority had more like 20"!
Dodged another bullet.

My daughter and son-in-law took the train in, but the weather got to the switches and shut down the trains.  I saw Amtrak cancelled trains along the coast.  The storm went as far south as South Carolina along the coast.  Florida was seeing 32 degrees in places.

Hey Leaburn!  Keep that damned air up there.  If you must talk, face the north.  LOL

I'm in a town called Chatham Nj, about 20 miles East of Polarco, and about 25 miles west Of NYC. We got about 30 inches here.

Took most of the day to dig our cars out.

Loretta, my son Andrew and myself, dug out the three cars. We were out there from 10 to nearly 4, not counting time yakking with the neighbors.

'My sister in Brooklyn got more than us. When the NYC Subways aren't running you know it's a serious snow job.

This storm hit the coast the hardest.

Yeah I know about the trains.  Amtrak stopped rail service on the coast too.  My daughter and son-in-law got stuck there because of that.  Ended up takling the path to Hobroken and caught the NJT to Dover.  Dunno what possessed them to go over there in a blizzard in the first place.

Not as bad as the east coast, but the area around Salt Lake City is crap right now too. Some of the areas are calling for up to 4 feet of snow. I15 looks just like the second picture. Not a fun ride. Hope the weather picks up a bit before I visit with Chris (azblackhemi) in a couple of weeks. Heard they are only having a high of 45 tomorrow.

Yeah this week is not typical Arizona weather. Been raining all day here and up to 2 feet of snow in flagstaff. Next two nights will be below freezing.  What happened to global warming? The next 5-6 days will be cool but it shoild warm up after that.  Looking forward to seeing you Peter. Drive safe through all that crap.
