Very useful thread, no ppoint screwing around with old sockets... I use
a RotoZip for stuff like this, it's like a Dremel on steroids.

excellent presentation !   Yer right,  I had a lot of taillights that didn't work on my 70 300, took it to Automotive Engineering.    The grounds were all bad, as Snotty had predicted.
