That is one of the coolest C bodies I have ever seen.

The red one is Canadian mfr??  It has a Plym dashboard.

The US version had 2 huge round pods that always reminded me of boobs...

It doesn't take much to remind me of boobs :-)

$30K?  Good luck, I don't think the estate will get that out of the car.  And do my eyes deceive me or is there no water hooked up to the control valve for the A/C?  No hard line coming off the compressor, either.  It's been capped off.

If they knock it down by 2/3rds they are in the ball park, heck, make it $10.5K due to the a/c stuff not being operable/missing and they might even sell it, imo

I plugged in your zip, Stan, so the site would work

B-J wouldn't even put that car on Sun night as people are filing out the door......face it...no one that goes to those auctions wants a nice C bod Plymouth . A Kruse auction maybe...

The caretakers should grab any offer over $12 grand and consider themselves lucky

Anything over $10.5K they should take and be happy with.  Hell, I almost have that in my car for paint, body work and re-doing the vinyl top!

I agree the estaste should take the money and run to save disappointment and heartache at the auction.
Are they not aware they have to PAY extra to get the car on TV? on TOP of the buyers and seller's fees??
Who's to know that at the "more money than brains" circus someone want the drivetrain only and donate  the rest to charity??
This is the case the right car needs to find its right owner.
Plus there ase details mentioned I agree that need to be corrected on the car.

Get a hold of Karl Kirshner...He's the guy that owns Black Beauty...you know, the Green Hornet car? His screenname is V 194 over at the old dry dock site...He's on Moparts too. He was best friends with John Kozak...the owner of that fine 67 Fury. I'm sure he'll give you all the details. I believe I heard that the $$$ from the sale of that car will go to Cancer research or something like that.

Hard to believe a 4spd is only a 5% premium on what really is, for all
intents & purposes, a rare muscle car, C- body or not.

Wow, straight from the horses mouth.    I and a co-handler of an estate made the same mistake of pricing something too high (a house priced on the upper end of the market, right before things tanked) and had to re-adjust the price so it could sell almost a year and a half later.

That car isn't going anywhere in the meantime.

the only way they can get more $$$$$$ for the Cancer Society would be to get a license and have a raffle at a major Mopar show......but that might also fail to bring the amount a serious C bod fan would give, and then they would have to let the car go to the winner whatever the $$$$ amount adds up to.....a gamble for all involved
