OK Brian

You looking for a project?

I need you to look at the few pictures there are and tell me if you would like to do it.  It's mostly assembly now, but does need some etailing and a repaint.  The engine has the wrong oil pan, but is done and needs to be finished assembled.  There is a ton on detailing, but we are pretty sure we have everything but maybe the interior screws.

Let me know.

I am on line with this so these guys see a proceedure.

As far as delivery, maybe we can meet somewhere and transfer

Why? You can do a full blown resto from a thousand pieces, right?

Give me the details Steve.

Bout time!   I was beginning to think you were afraid of what I had.  I mean Stan is so descriptive of the ACTUAL conditions. . . .

OK  Here goes.

The body work is completed and the initial painting is done.  The frame, and suspension and brakes are done.  Brake Plumbing needs to be completed in the front.  (Converted to 4 wheel disc's) The frame needs to be re detailed and the strut rod bushings need replacement again.  (PST JUNK!  SNOTTY!!!!!!)

The Engine is rebuilt, painted.  Needs painted again.  Trans has been done.  Needs a torque converter.  I need an oil pan, WIP.  Torque converter can be a used one I think.

The car was media blasted

It basically needs the front inners painted, reinstalled and all the front body parts assembled/aligned.  The engine needs to be completed, installed, exhaust, rebuilt the ball and trunnion (Have the kit) U Joint, and connections. Rebuild the carbs,  Dash is painted, needs reassembly.  Glass is out, every piece of the interior is disassembled.  AC is all there, new hoses.  Condenser needs to be combed out.  Needs belts and hoses.

I would say it would take me a month to assemble the inside of the car, probably about the same for the rest, including painting the final finish.

So the project needs allot of detailing, and assembly.  It would be delivered in a basket.  But it is rolling.  All the heavy work is done.

Oh  Since they didn't do a frame off or a rotis job, there are areas where the rust proofing needs to be scraped and reapplied.  Finished, including outside labor is probably 120 hours.  + incidentals.

If parts are needed, it's because they got lost.  But as far as I know, except for fresh interior screws, Upholstery and the oil pan, there is nothing major needed.

Nutshell

At the risk of sounding clueless please clarify this for me Steve. Roger seems to think you want to sell the car to me and Stan thinks you want me to finish it up for you. Who's right?
