Rescue the 300 - The finale.
« on: October 20, 2010, 01:03:29 PM »

... of Steve running like a madman down to Clearwater Florida to save another car that he left in someone elses hands for the last 10 years (Panic mode: ON!) and he's already called me 5 times.
Sheesh, Steve: Remove me from speed dial, will ya?

Good luck Steve...Hope all goes well and you have an uneventful and safe journey.  Try and keep the stress to a minimum...that's when we make mistakes on the road.

Steve's at home on the road.
I rode shot gun with him several times-one long haul to Detroit from Scranton,PA.
He gets into a groove where he keeps on going, yet knows when to stop when he's tired.
Sure wanted to go on this trip, but I could not afford to take the time off to go.

Stan,is he doing phone abuse again??
Sheesh..Cut him some slack,he does not have anybody in the cab to yak at.

Unlike the heart sinking plucked chicken fiasco, there may be some bustin' balls on this trip.

Steve, drive safe my blue shirt buddy.

Don't go there.  I'm extra careful not to put gas in it.  Besides, I'm better prepared if I do.  HEY!  I caught it didn't I?

As for that pointed headed Stanley. . . . .

STOP CHANGING DESTINATIONS AFTER I HAVE PASSED THEM ALREADY!

He left out the 4 calls he made to me. . . .

I came extremely close to wipping out on 95 this evening. . .   Hit an oil slick and went down a bank on the shoulder sideways.  Good save though, trailer started to knife left, I turned right and gave it the goose.  She belched out a pile of black smoke, dug in and pulled it straight.  I ended up back on the shoulder.  Now there's oil sprayed over everything

Stan.  .Please post the pic you took of me.  I want to PROVE TO THE SNOT I was not wearing blue jeans or a blue shirt, or white sneakers.
