Many thanks to Tom "Tucker" Woodcock.
I really do appreciate the work he did on the waygun.
An artist with the bender--and one of the very few people left that can make exhaust from scratch.
Fit and finish is top shelf. All connections are welded. No rattles or vibrations.
I went old school and chose Thrush Turbo mufflers for that 70's Mopar small block sound.
We do a lot of custom exhaust at my work, and Tucker is the man to do the job.

Down off the hoist, the tips look awesome.Plain 3" pipe,no chrome.

Sound great! Not too horny, nice throaty sound and no drone inside the car at speed. The muffs do not make the car sound like a 5 litre mustang or a chebbie cramaro--it says mopar!

Sound like Polaraco now.  Only Polaraco is a bit more throaty with the larger bore and ported heads

Great post! I'm glad to see another wagon being given a great home. I like the look of the pipes coming strait out the back, as opposed to going out and down at the corners. Thanks for the post.

Well,I am learning.
Plus I am still getting to know this brown eyed girl.
After driving Waygun all this weekend,I had to do something about the exhaust.
First of all,Tom did nothing wrong. He wanted to do something cool for me.And I really do appreciate the work he puts in.
I,never owned a wagon before, did not know any different.
With the tailpipes going straight out,I was getting fumes in the car--big time.
I did not notice it myself, but with the fam damily in the car they complained about the fumes and mumbled something about Schindler's list on wheels.
The rear spoiler even made things worse with the rear window down and the fumes shot up all the way to  the dash. Not fun in stop and go traffic.
So,this time safety outwieghs the cool factor.
Off  the tailpipes go,and new tailpipes were bent and exited to the sides behind the rear bumper.
Pretty plain looking--which kinda goes with the plain brown wrapper theme.
Most importantly,no more mumbling references to the holocaust .
I even drove today with the rear window down and my side window and no fumes.
I now know why there is a reason why the factory put the tailpipes to the side on wagons.

I did a garbage run on my lunch hour to boot.
