I wish you were in So Cal Chris.  I'd have you paint my '64 GTO.

He's not that far away from us, under 400 miles, only 350miles from me.

Too far for me.  The car will be completely disassembled when I am ready to paint it and I don't have anything to tow it with.

Well  depending when you're ready to paint it we might be able to work transport in if it's around Spring or Fall Fling. I can bring my trailer with me.

That might work but then I'd have to come and get it.

From what I have observed and seen with my own eyes what, five times now (?), it is worth the cost and U-haul rental cost one way to have it done by someone we all know.

What, messing up the front end isn't enough, gotta have the weight of a trailer smash your rear end, too?

Up next for me is a very rough 69 Coronet R/T. Needs floors and trunk floor along with trunk extensions and lower quarters and front sheetmetal work. It sat for years on the Indian Resorvation and had all the glass broken out of it. It needs alot of work but it is a 440, 4 speed, Dana car. For now we're just going to replace the floors and trunk floor and lower quarters while the owner is deciding exactly what he's going to do with it. Here's the before pictures.

Darn, this is the exact type project I was hoping to help you with, but right now I am knee-deep in building the house and can't get away for a couple weeks to do something like this. I'm sure you will get another great example like this in about a year or so, so still looking forward to giving you a bunch of free labor for a true learning experience, just not now.
