Man Chris, you be CRANKIN'!  Can't believe how fast you git 'er done.. Took me half a year to patch a few holes in the trunk floor!
Well  Roger I found out very quickly that if I don't get the jobs done I don't get paid. If I don't get paid the wifey isn't happy. We all know that's not good! I've got a guy working for me and I'm putting in 12 hour days 6-7 days a week so that's why alot is getting done. Even working that many hours I still can't get ahead. My calender is booked through about July right now. It is much better than having no work though.

"Lay off the beer! "

yeah right... and do what for inspiration? I'm not sure I can work on a car without beer!

And I know all about keepin' the wife happy, for 41 years...
amazing considering she doesn't really like old cars, in my case it's
more of a financial drain than a money maker, but at least she sort of
tolerates it enough that I can have my fun, beats hangin out in the
bars!

Had the soda blaster come out today to blast the 69 Super Bee today. Sure does a nice job on the body panels. Strips them smooth with no warping. Doesn't do quite so well on the undercoating and surface rust underneath but at least got it to where we can clean the rest up by hand. All the floors and trunk floor have been replaced and subframe connectors are done so now that it's stripped we can kick butt and get it done in 4-6 weeks I hope. Here's some pictures from today.

When I saw the picture of the soda blasting, I could almost smell it.

That's one good thing about soda blasting. It leaves a coating on the metal so it won't rust. It also helps being in the dssert too. Should have it in primer in about a week hopefully.

Does soda blasting sting like sand blasting? I did a whole lot of the sand blasting before I went into the Navy, worked best after it was used several times and broke down to powder. Looks pretty straight otherwise, didn't see any bondo marks.

Yeah , the guy comes with a trailer , big diesel Air compressor and his soda blaster. Does make a huge mess. Everything around my shop looked like It had 2 inches of snow on it.

Nope. The guy didn't even cover up his arms. Just wore goggles, a resperator and ear plugs.
