Actually there were quite a few made like that.  I've seen them on a 60 Chrysler too.  I am inclined to think they were professionally built.

That's actually very well equipped: 3-way fridge, 3 burner stove/oven with hood, could sleep 4 - I like it.  Wonder if there's a bathroom in it; can't tell in the pictures.

Maybe a Chemical. . .With all the other ammenities, I can't see why it wouldn't have a hole.
