Road trip
« on: June 04, 2010, 04:40:02 PM »

Talked my son into using his truck to go pick up my donor car. Gonna drag the trailer down to Montana in the morning, and hope to be back Sunday afternoon. It's about 450 miles from me. Talked to US Customs today and they told me I'm all set to export the car. Get the paperworked stamped by them, take it to Canada Customs, pay them some GST and then drive the last 4-5 hours home.  Then I'll have my correct 413, tilt column, and clear driver quality (one small crack on the right one) tail-lights. Not sure of the rear end, but I'll check it out when I get home. Then I'll have a 65 727  and assorted parts to dispose of.  I'll post a list of available stuff at a later date. Now I have no excuse. I'll have to

Snotty, do you have any relatives in Montana? Previous owner has same last name.

Well that's a great car you got, and a pretty sweet trailer set-up as well.  Glad everything went without a hitch.
