I could use this.  I can't think of why it WOULDN'T work with my '76 NYB w/tilt & tele.

I have a few parts like that....they were dealer returns! They were defective and got put back in their boxes....years later it's buyer beware! He says it was sold to him that way (meaning he took a chance) and now he wants to off it? I would walk away....

My source does not specify with or without tilt.
50/50 crap shoot.IMO.
Buy it for a song,if it is not right re-sell for a record price,LOL

That one is for without tilt.  The one with tilt is a round shaft, threaded at the end.  late 70's POLARACO2010-04-13 21:45:26

It could have been tried by some parts swapper and found that it didn't fix the problem

I scratched it of my wish list.
I, too, have gotton burned on too many so called "NOS" stuff.
