65 vs. 68 Inner Fenders
« on: February 13, 2010, 07:04:11 PM »

Anybody know if the inner fenders from a 65 300 will fit in a 68 Fury?

My Holanders don't cover that.

It appears the frames are different (Comparing a 66 to a 68)  The 65, as we all know, is stand alone.

No,Steve.
I went through the same thing with "MrMopartech" where I gave him a 68 inner fender for his 65.

As long as Chrysler ones are the same as Fury I got a set or maybe 5.

That's what we're trying to figure out.  Lea says the 68 to 65 didn't work.  If the 65 Chrysler will fit on a 68 fury, I have a set then

But will 67-68 Chrysler fit on 67-68 Fury? I just sold my 68 Sp Fury so I can't compare.azblackhemi2010-02-14 13:47:52

The fenders do have two halves.
Been thinking about this.................
Ok,the inner half should be the same. The outer half--the one that bolts to the outer fender-is model specific to fit  the outer fender coutour/body style.
As long as the outer half is not rotted out and re-usable.
Outer half..this is model specific.

Inner half..should be interchangable between 65-68 C's

Both together..

MMMM  This is turning into a nightmare.

I have the 67 Plyme inners from the VOAB here.  I can't get to the 65 yet, there's a foot of snow.  The 65 is going to get stripped as soon as I put the engine in Polaraco

Couple of months? I may live in the desert but even I know a foot of snow melts faster than that. One 50 degree day with rain will do the trick. C'mon put them golashes on and truck through the snow! LOL.
