Noticed something....
« on: January 31, 2010, 06:34:43 PM »

I've had this 383 floating around for years now.  It's a March 1968
casting and low and behold the other day I was in the garage and I
happen to look at the engine just sitting there and I see two threaded
bungs on the pass side of the block, near the motor mount location.
Never ever noticed them before.

Now I may be wrong, which is why I'm coming to those that may be wiser
then myself, but are these not the motor mount mounting points for a 65
C-body? Or a big block A-body?

Yup I'm sure.  It has a the 2468130 casting number on the DRIVERS (for Stan) side of the block, and a 3/12/68 casting date as well.
