North Carolina Special
« on: January 24, 2010, 12:25:39 PM »

This is a car Polaraco and I saw in North caroline while picking up my 60 Fury.

When we saw it there was a heavy coat of Carolina clay covering the exterior. I suppose it helps preserve the paint.

This guy has got a treasure trove of all different Mopars, BUT...

HIS PRICES ARE INSANE!!!!!!!!!

swivel seats are now over $1,000 if you can find them.....but what kills me is he wants $28K for what appears to be a nice car and he won't put a lousy starter in it to sell it......maybe it won't run even with a new starter

Do share,, if it's that bad it's probably in response to several emails questioning his sanity.

Steve and I met the guy back in November.

Those pictures are old, The car is covered with dust under a car port.

For the money he charges, you would think he would have them at least running decent.  We looked at a 59 Plymouth coupe for 25,000.  The firing order was crossed, rubber freeze plugs in a rebuilt engine, no rust but I found bondo hidden.  The least he could do is have the damned thing running right.

In Steves case, the least he could have done was wash it.  Ran like crap.  I never did drive it.  Steve can tell you the rest.  I wanted to stop at a hydrospray but we didn't see one.  Had to keep the image of his "57 Plymouth" going.    I'm surprised nobody asked if it had a hemi
