Asking for help via an online listing - how?
« Reply #152 on: April 10, 2010, 06:00:35 AM »

Back from Spring Break!  I wanted to leave the computer alone for a while - I feel like I've been staring at it so much lately, I'm going monocular.

So, I put an ad in Craigslist last week and found a guy who I thought would work out well.  After 7 hours of working on Wanda, the engine has gone from this:

to THIS:

There's still some issues left to resolve - but one more day should do it.  Unfortunately, that can't happen for at least a month - maybe even two months - as my job will eat up all my weekends from now until at LEAST May 22nd (maybe even later than that ).

Anyway - want to thank all you guys for your offer to help and to try to make this get-together work.    I'll still have a ton of questions for you all online, so you ain't rid of me just yet.

A local Ithacan named Bob.  He's an interesting guy - very easy going.  He seems competent - we'll see when we start Wanda up.  Hopefully nothing flies off.
