Patch panels and a cable
« on: January 01, 2010, 04:32:18 PM »

Friend is starting to gather parts and start a resto on her 69 Super Bee. The car is in very good condition but has a small rust thru just behind the rear wheel. She adamantly refuses to use body filler to repair it. Do they make a patch panel for, say, the lower part of the quarter panel or does she have to get the quarter and have her body shop make the patch?

Second question. Anyone know where I can get her a new operating cable for the air grabber?

You can go to Yearone.com and they will probably have everything you are looking for.  But it does come at a price.

If you do a little research on-line you can usually find the parts and get them at a discount, compared to Year One, or straight from the manifacturer.

E-bay is another good source for scrounging up parts.
