If it was a boat in the tree;claiming it was art, (Fred Kanter) that's one thing.  But denying our right to display the American Flag. . .   Wait a minute.  Tell those Commies to go home.

Not the whole story - the article in my paper said the neighborhood had
no problem with him displaying the flag but with the big flagpole out
front - they said he could have a wall mounted pole on his house... it
was really blown out of proportion for sensationalist journalistic
purposes. But that shouldn't surprise anyone, should it?

It's Richmond, so no suprise.  It's all about the aesthetics these days...anywhere you go.
