That sounds good. When do you want to start?

Congratulations to you FIN_NV...I happen to love the 60 Plymouth design. That is a real beauty. Have a great time with it!

All the way home I kept teasing him about it being "Ukin Fugly"

The first time I saw one when I was a kid, I couldn't believe how tacky the fins were.  I guess its an aquired taste.(or no taste)

The skirts are still off from the voyage. I think it looks good without the skirts.

Maybe a lift on the stern.

Yes.  I am kidding Stephen allot about the car, but it's definitely a very good base to start with.  Virtually no body work and the paint is in REAL good shape.  Interior needs some TLC, but the most important thing is the car is all there!  Everything I looked at was straight, including the sport tone on the sides.  He doesn't have to chrome anything but the Plymouth script on the trunk.

Hey Stephen, I suggest the skirts because they are extremely rare in all chrome.  Put them on for the shows.

My beef is the mechanicle work done was shotty.  You would think for that kind of money he would have it working right.

Steve, what's your plans with the carb?

Yeah, I think you're right about the skirts.

Between Pete and Angelo we should be able to cobble together all the missing parts on the choke linkages.

The choke needs to be adjusted first.  But the Carb has to be done too.  So since the carb has to come off to set the choke on that, may as well wait.  All it needs is that stupid clip on the linkage.

You could always just get an electric choke on an edelbrock 600 and be done with it all. . . .

Better to have to do mechanical work than fix body rust any day...

BTW Airflows of any kind are getting quite rare and very hard to find -
that might not be a bad buy for the right person wanting one. Always
kinda liked them, they were weird, sorta like the 61s, and similarly
didn't sell well in their day... there was one in a field near me as a
kid that I used to play around in... the field and old cars went away
one day for an apt complex...boo hoo.
