The Question is: Why??? rollover?

Be much easier to put 5th Ave front clip on a Dip or Gran Fury.

The guy wanted the large rear window in the luxo-cruiser.......all he did was remove all the 5th Ave vinyl top and trim, and then graft the rear window from a Caravelle in. Starting with a 5th gives you all the amenities a Dippy don't have.....

Don't 5ths have a diferent rear door as well, with a built in opera window?

Also surprised a Caravelle - fwd K car derivative - window fit in an M body car.

Or did it require alterations.

Don't know about the US, but the Caravelle was just the Plymouth version of the Diplomat in Canada until the FWD version showed up. I think you guys called it the Grand Fury.

The rear doors are the same as a dip.  They have that Opera deal overlaying the door frame and a shorter window.
