You guys n' gals in Europe can see even more Mopars at the big Vasteras
meet in Sweden, I swear there are more '50s Mopars there than in the US
almost, including, now, 2  1958s that used to belong to me :-(

My daughter once asked, "Why are there always Elvis impersonators at car shows?"

I still don't know - can anyone help?

Maybe we this year we will make it to Sweden. :)
Only not with a Mopar.... When we go, we will go with the camper.
In June we have Bottrop Kustom Culture in Germany.
Very lovely meeting also.

Thanks for the vid!
Funny thing about this "kustom kulture" and rat rods is that in the old days, no one would want to be seen in an unfinished rod....they wanted paint and chrome and nice upholstery so they could get the best girl and go out on the town.....every old timer I've talked to  (plus 14 years of running a local cruise night) tells me this. Rat rods weren't the vogue, they only thrive now with the new culture of tattoos, piercings, "deathbilly" and punk music.
I follow the style that present more finished rods....like in these magazines:
