All the time I thought Imperials and other C-bodies share the same front suspension and steering, once the engine was removed and  reached the sub-frame I realized I was wrong, all parts are bigger/longer and some does not even exist in other C-bodies.
Unfortunately I did not have the chance to drive other C-bodies so I cannot compare, but I guess the above explains why Imperials drives better.

LOL the understeer ends when the rear axle finally loses grip :)

The ride quality of the imperial is better due to the heavier front end and more isolated front suspension.

For handling/cornering, lighter cars are obviously better.

Regarding high speed stability, the Imperial is very good, MUCH better than my old Newpie.

Overall, I really prefer the Imperial to any other car.

I have seen some of the progress in the garage in Hungary, they do a very very thorough job. And those guys make their own parts if they cant locate replacements for sale.
