You're in Hungary, correct?  I'll bet that car is a HUGE hit - in more ways than one!

Glad you're enjoying the car and a new friend!

Hi Riyad, it was a real pleasure! Actually it turned out well that may/june didnt work out as a few bugs appeared during that time that might have gotten us stranded somewhere on the road, and all those small issues were addressed before we really hit the road.

Enjoy the car!

Yeah Sjak we made it just right for the trip, I did not mean the car itself in May/June, I meant that I had some personal problems as you remember and you had that small accident with your daily what made things delayed, anyway its just a History now :)

Since the car technical side is very good there will be no major modification ,brakes have to be fixed and maybe control arm, since I want the Imp to be brought back to the 1973 shape, the restoration will take all time in fixing many minor things, body, rust spots, panels, paint, vinyl top, repainting and cleaning all parts, want Imp to be near perfect in everything.

Yes I have some bits of the build sheet :)

The car looks pretty good, considering its been a daily driver from 99 to 2005.

Very wise to use an engine jack for the front bumper, that thing is heavy.

Yes the beast is now hibernated hopefully until the mid spring, we had the worst winter in the last 10 years but we still have good progress, will  post soon..

My '69 Imp was basically the same car - the 69-73 Imps are the best riding Mopars ever! IMO.

I have to agree on that Roger! The only flaw in handling is the heavy understeer before oversteer comes in :)
