Woodward Cruise
« on: August 20, 2009, 08:15:57 PM »

Well, it was a pretty good year for C-bodies at Woodward.

On the way down I stopped for snacks in Howell, and there was a '69 or '70 Fury.  On the way home, stopped for gas in Wixom, and the only other car there was a '69 300.  In between I counted 14 Chryslers, 10 Plymouths, and 5 or 6 Dodges.

Instead of the Bronco rusting out, he'll need to worry about termites

Of course there's a huge puddle under it.

Are termites stopped by varnish?  Look at the reflections on the side.

I didn't notice if the puddle actually came from the Newport, but if he hasn't added an overflow bottle it would not be surprising.  Sat was one of the warmest days we've had this year.

Arlen, Woodward is usually 2 weeks before 28th st.  If nothing breaks in the next week, I should be headed your way for that.

Bob, didn't I pass on that one once already?
