Here's some great info about tires you may want to put in you're archives for future reference! Tire size conversion chart! Lot's of great info and easy to understand as i see so many people make the wrong choice on tires,we really have to educate ourselves, because only a handfull of shops take the time to go over a lot of important info when you do buy a set, such as WHY you should put nitrogen in you're tires when in you're area the temperature fluctuates a lot such as in Winnipeg (-40C winter to +35C summer). http://www.mopar1.us/tireconversion.html

Bob: more to the point I ran 235/75/R15s on both my fuselage 71 Fury
III sedan for 4 years and also my '73 Plym Custom Suburban wagon, with
no interference problems or issues of any kind. They were cheapie BF
Goodrich and Firestone iirc. I later put Goodyears the same size on the
wagon.I commuted about 40 mi each way to work daily in those cars. I
like to put upsize tires on my cars.

Jacques....Glen....Roger....You really make feel confident now. Thank you very much for your input. The fact that others have run the 235-75's on Fusey Furys really make me feel confident now.

These are a 3/4" wide white wall....right Mosey? What do you look for in a tire? I know there's a lot of things that one is supposed to look at. I hate to admit it...but #1 for me is: Looks (to suit my personal taste)...then price....all that other stuff...load rating...speed rating...etc I don't even look at it Hmmm

Check out Diamond Back tires.
They do make any style of white wall
Double pinstripe,5/8" white wall,3/4, and wider.
The double pinstripe was very popular on 69/70 C's

Thanks for that site Leaburn...nice tires but very pricey. For me...I can't justify spending $800.00 for a set of rubber. It's ashame but the time is coming where this will be the only place we can find tires for our cars. It's just about reality right now. Good info. on caring for our white walls though!...I didn't realize that I've been ruining my whitewalls all these years. Good to know...especially since my 58 will have 2 1/2 wide whites!

Thanks again Lea.. Bob

Yes Moesy...just saw those F380's on tiresavings.com...$62.00 a piece...not bad at all!! If I can get my heart/mind off of the thicker white walls that would be a very good choice.

I've used the Firesotene FR380s and had good luck with them, decent and cheap tires. I'd use them again.

Got my 235-75's mounted up at lunch today. I wound up going with Cooper Trendsetters with the 3/4" wide white walls. I gave up on the idea of getting the thicker whites...too much $$. By the time I had them shipped and mounted they would have been $96.00 a piece. Got these for $66.00 each installed! They look much bigger than the 225-70's...I'm excited. I'll take some photos and post 'em soon. Thanks for all your help guys..
