Kids these days.....
« on: June 02, 2009, 05:45:31 PM »

Whether it's banging a Hurst 4 speed or driving a 58 Cadillac Biarritz convertible, these 2 year olds don't seem to catch on quickly these days.  Seriously, I can't keep my son out of my cars, he sits in them for hours.  Hey, get those shoes off my white seats buster !

If you see a 2 year old coming at you in a 58 Caddy, get the flock out of the way !

I see you and Stevie in the '69; does that mean you actually DROVE IT??

Good for you Buddy!

For those who don't know, the white interior and long shifter are in Steve's '69 GTX 440 that has been modified to a 6 Pac.  It has the actual, and rare, fresh-air package through the vent slots on the hood.  It's a sweet car with gobs of power!  I prefer driving it over his '68 Hemi car - especially in cold weather!!

(Now you're wondering why....)

Yeah, the 69 is much more fun to drive because it had an $8000 engine rebuild and has been dynoed at 500 hp.  It's much more reliable than the Hemi.   It would easily beat the Hemi, which needs rebuilt.  The fresh air hood is the "N96" option fresh air package.  There's a cable driven push tab under the dash that says, "Carb air" that you can open and close.   Doesn't do much, but looks neat.
