I've often thought to myself that many, MANY, years ago, had I justed started with a 55-57 Chevy,  things would be soooooooooooooo much easier now (and less poorer).

There definitely is an advantage to owning a B or A body, once you've
paid the much higher price to actually acquire it, what with easy
availability of most parts from a catalog, that's for sure, but a 4
door version of them has somewhat less to choose from than a
coupe...  A FL or C body can be very frustrating, but well worth
it! Our motto here is:  Das Beste oder Nichts (the Best or
Nothing!!)
