Ya stay away for a few months and look what happen
« on: May 05, 2009, 05:42:41 PM »

You guys finally topped 150 users.  Bout time.

Steve thanks for the offer to haul the Monaco out, sorry I didn't get back to ya.   Anyway, time to start thinking about the beast again.  Hope to get it moved out here to MD in the next couple months.  It's been lonely without it around.

And also if there's anyone with a mind for a '53 Imperial let me know.  From what I'm told it's all there, ran a few years ago and has been park for about 15 years in a garage in Denver.  Got a 4 barrel and a hemi for power, 331 or 354 not sure.  Coral color.  They say it's straight with no rust.  My father in law found out about as he works with the gentleman.  He's trying to get photos so I can post them.  If anyone is interested I can pass on the owners name and number.

Replied to another post - now I remember that black Dodge was in Denver
- so you moved to my old home state of MD now, only 15 miles from my
old stompin' grounds in Carroll County...

Yeah.  Don't think I'm staying too long.  More than likely move to the PA border and drive down everyday.  I went from living in the state with the most person freedoms to the one that ranks dead last.  People are friendly as all get out but I have hobbies that require a bit more freedom than this place allows.  But it is gorgeous here. czervika2009-05-20 21:02:57

I'd recommend driving straight up MD Rt 30 to the PA border and look in
South Hanover - we lived up there for awhile in the 90s but the wife
thought it was too far to drive to Westminster... house prices drop 20%
or more as soon as you cross the PA line and taxes are less... my best
friend lives in Melrose, on rt 30, in a converted barn, about 3 miles
south of the PA line. Let me know if you want info, it's my home and I
know the whole area intimately... I went to college in Westminster and
lived around there for over 30 yrs.
