440 to 413 swap
« on: May 04, 2009, 04:11:21 PM »

Hi fellas; I am pulling out a dead 440 from a 66 T&C Wagon. I have a  runner 65- 413, out of a New Yorker. Will these swap easily, other than engine mounts ? Thanks, John

Not quite. . .But close enough for Government work.

The 66 isn't drilled out in the front for the 65 for the motor mount, unless it's a real early 66.

I thought 440's started in 67

Plus, he's going from a 65 engine to a 66 car, so the goofy 65 motormount bosses are a non-issue.

I thought the goofy motor mounts were last used in '64.
