Well a little Hello from Denmark.
« on: April 17, 2009, 07:21:54 AM »

Hello Mopar friends.
First i have to say thx for this great site, lots of info and help here.

I am from Denmark, and i bought my first real car October 2007, a 1970 Plymouth Satellite 4 door all stock 318cui.
And i wasnt fixed on the brand in the start, but as i found it by a dealer in Kentucky, i was lost, it just had to be that car.
Now i have been driving one season in it, 7738 miles good year, and no problems at all.
And i just love it, its a rolling slow resto, its just to expensive to do it all.

But if you want to know more, just ask.

Welcome!!
I hear that Mopars have a very strong following over there!!
Love to see some pictures.
Like any old car that is being driven and enjoyed,it needs a little "something" that needs fixing,LOL
318 drivetrain has been proven time and again to be very reliable.
It is good  to know that not all 4 door Satty's are being chopped up to restore a Road Runner or GTX!!
Any questions feel free to ask.
We even have members in Europe that can help as well when you need it.Some have converted their cars to propane to keep fuel costs down.

Well i have uploaded some pictures in my profile but i guess people cant see them.

Actually this one is the only one i have been able to find for sale, and i know there is only 1 other here in Denmark, and that is also making it special for me at least.

Me and My Satellite.

and then one of the inside.

And then the Engine 318cui runs like a dream.

I hope thats good, and i have been reading that Moparfins need stock pics of all kinds of years, so feel free to use them or post and i will upload some others, if you want some special scenes, angles or what ever.

Well i bought it over by you, so i guess no body wanted it over there.

And its green, but i dont know if it will stay that way, its not like its a rare model or valueble

Maybe the ac - no power brakes make it speciel  but ill say the brakes are fine, and it can stop hard, but still disc is better, there is not so much adjusting with disc brakes.

Very nice car...love the color and it looks like it is in pretty nice shape...I'd leave it the way it is and just enjoy it.

Steve, I haven't talked to Martin for some time, I didnt attend much carmeetings after 2007, and we're not exactly neighbours either. In June, the dragracing starts again, maybe I'll meet him there (if I'm not on holidays at the race dates)
