I've always been interested in fuel injection, then I cam across this a few years ago..

I've been thinking, I would like the old 65 to go this way in a while.. anyone ever had any experience with mega squirt?

Some like a fun experiment for the ole 361...

Yes.  my son is planning to Megasquirt his turbocharged MGB-GT...
I mentioned Megasquirt a week or so ago for Steve's dead 5th Ave to
replace the 318 with a slant 6 Turbo vis-a-vis the V-8.  It's the
most adaptable add on fuel injection but not cheap and optimization
requires using a PC and appropriate software in our case, not for the
faint of heart, it might be easier for a stock 361... Personally I
think propane is a better and easier route to clean efficiency, I'm
concerned about emissions laws being tightened down the road, it's
inevitable imo, and I'm going that route on my '58 B block 350.

I had some lousey experiences with the Holly Commander 950. . .You were around for those.  It turned out it was the car, not the injection system.
 
No experience with the Mega Squirt though.
 
The reason I decided ti abandon the car was because it's turning into a money pit.  It's just another one I have to chalk up as "I was screwed on eGay"
