Hey Stan, I Bought a Formal Today!
« on: April 01, 2009, 05:56:07 PM »

A Mopar buddy of mine is moving to Tucson and needed to get rid of some cars so I helped him out today. I bought a 77 New Yorker 4dr ht. Rebuilt 440, cold A/C, everything works including the power antenna and clock. He just rebuilt the motor and has only put about 25 miles on it. Needs an accelerator pump to run great but that's about all it needs. Interior is brown leather in good shape. Exterior is white. It has a little rust way down under the rear quarters but you have to get way under it to see it. I pick it up tommorrow and will get some pictures then.

Like it too!!  No more comfortable car was ever made... well....
maybe  a '75 Fleetwood Brougham Talisman with 4 Velour separate
seats - front & rear - with full length console writing desk &
phone!

That rust thru in the trunk extension wells seems odd for a dry AZ car... normal for NY...in 4 yrs!

my 74 had those briefcase pockets in the trunk and the driver side was gone too must be a really common issue.

I'm gonna ba at Spring Fling but I'm probably gonna bring my 65 Fury Wagon. I'm not having any luck selling it here so I figured I'd try to sell it at the Fling.
