Fellow Canadian members Chryco parts catalogues
« on: March 11, 2009, 07:59:43 PM »

Just got my minty copies of 1968 and 1969 Chryco (Chrysler Canada)
Parts Catalogues.
These are very hard to find--especially in the excellent condition that they are in.
They do differ from the US catalogues since both contain information and numbers on cars built for the Canadian market.
Particularly the Dodge C bodies. They were different from the US cars.
It also contains plant ID numbers for cars built in Windsor,Ontario.Fury,Valiant,Dodges,etc.
So,if anybody needs information or play the gumbers chase and you have a 68/69 Canuckian car,I can help.

Both books are very early for their respective model years.
They appear not to have been updated.I could not find any additions to the book or any superceded numbers.
I did compare my 68 US catalogue to the Canadian one and they are indeed different.
Different font in the print, page numbers  do not match the  US booketc, etc.
The 68 Monaco /Polara models are totally different compared to the US cars. All the unique trim also have their own part numbers,of course, and are NOT listed in the US catalogue.

So besides the metric measurements and the unnecessary "ue" on the end of "catalog", what else is different? I'll bet it's:
Step 1:" Remove all the bolts holding the unit to the firewall, eh? Now, rest beer carefully on fender...."
