Asking nothing but trouble with a turbo. Hate turbos.  Despise turbos. Bad, BAD idea.
Supercharge it!

Ya, I think Supercharging might work better on big inch engines, Turbos
are good for 4 cyl. The GM 3.8s with supercharging work pretty good and
I bet maybe that blower could be adapted to a 318, somebody must have
done it already.

Maybe. . .

If I put the right one in, I should get 25 PSI out of it. . . I don't know how much the stock head bolts will take.  I didn't see if he did any head bolt mods to the 318 in the article.

If I put a blower in there, it's going to have to be on the side.  I'm not giving up my A/C.  I don't need an intercooler for a blower. . .

I think I have more room for a turbo than I do for a blower.  I'm trying to keep the hood line down to stock.  And still make it serviceable.  There are aft turbos available, which I probably have a better shot at.

Since I have an X Pipe and duals, I may go with 2 turbos.  The Blumbing ought to be a nightmare for that though.  I also have to find the right sized intercooler.  Lord knows there's enough space in the front for it.

Just kicking the idea around. . .But I have other matters I need to tend to on the car first.

I think paxton hast bolt on kits for their centrifugal superchargers. Those things are not much bigger than an alternator.

And someone mentioned Jyrki's Fury, that car is indeed FAST! 8-second C-body.

check their website;

http://www.paxtonauto.com/systems_1201850.html

I know a few guys who use this system, although it's on trucks from the nineties. It gives great performance.
